Snowflake yarns are unique and may or may not ever be repeated again. They are yarns that I tried new colors on, or bases I tested to see if I wanted to add it to my regular lineup, yarns or dye colors that have been discontinued by my suppliers, or maybe they just didn't turn out the way I wanted them to. They are still first quality yarns and dyes, just not part of my regular offerings.
OOAK stands for One-Of-A-Kind. One-Of-A-Kind items (Or sometimes four, or six of a kind) are not repeatable. All of my fiber offerings are generally OOAK, and not often listed online since every braid would need it's own listing. Fiber will only show up in the online store if there is a special offering, or if I add repeatable colorways, or have un-dyed products..
In any case, if you see a OOAK product you like, buy it because there is only what is listed there! Make sure if there are multiples of something listed that you buy enough for the project you have in mind, because I can’t replicate it exactly, and may not be able to get the supplies to do it anymore.
I typically ship within 3 business days of receiving full payment (usually twice a week, more often if I'm out for other things), unless the listing says "Dyed to Order". If the listing is marked "Dyed to Order", it will ship in 7 to 10 days to allow time for dyeing to occur. Orders are usually shipped USPS First Class mail with shipping or delivery confirmation, or Priority mail, depending on the size of the order. Orders over $50 will be insured.
Rush shipping may or may not be available depending on my schedule, I can not guarantee it. If you would like something rush shipped, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll see what I can do. There will be additional fees for rush orders.
Note: I reuse shipping material. Your order may arrive in a previously used box or envelope, but will always be shipped safely to protect your investment.
No, I'm so sorry, I do not currently ship internationally. The costs are very high, often more than the price of the item being shipped. Also, there is no tracking once it leaves the US which makes it impossible to confirm delivery.
Please note that shipping prices are estimates. Shipping will be determined by actual weight and destination, or will be a priority flat rate, whichever is better depending on how large the order is and how I am able to package it.
When free shipping is offered.
PDF patterns are downloadable and there is no shipping charge. If free shipping is being offered as a promotion, you will have a coupon code to enter.
All sales are final.
It's important to me to make and sell quality products, ship them safely, and have satisfied customers. I handle every skein and braid from start to finish and take care to ensure quality. I take time in giving detailed descriptions and show multiple photos to represent each item as clearly and accurately as possible to represent sizes, shapes, weights, colors, etc. I make every effort to represent colors as true as possible in our photos. However, I am not a professional photographer, and every computer monitor is different, so please make allowances. All products are packaged carefully and shipped in a timely manner with insurance (when necessary) and certificate of delivery, or shipping confirmation.
**By purchasing a product, you acknowledge that you understand that computer monitors vary in how they show color, and that these are hand crafted products that naturally have some variation from batch to batch and skein to skein.**

If you are in need of a sweater quantity (or more) of the same color, please don't hesitate to email me with a request at email@example.com. Payment in full is required before I begin a custom order and is non-refundable, unless I am unable to complete the order.
Please note there will be some lead time to order the yarn base if I don't have it in stock, and to dye the yarn. I will be happy to give you a more specific quote for your order when you email me. You can assume between 2 and 4 weeks as a general guideline, but it could be less if I have base on hand, or more if its a large or complicated order. I try to turn them around as quickly as possible. There are some times that I will be unable to accept custom orders. All sales are final.
I limit my wholesale accounts so as to provide the best service possible for my customers. Currently, Willamette Valley Wool Company is accepting new retailers.
